Our Mission
Little Lights Preschool’s mission is to provide a quality, caring, child-centered and developmentally appropriate program for children ages 4-5. We provide a secure environment which is based on Christian values and traditions. We strive to nurture a love of God, a respect of self and others, and a spirit of learning and sharing.
Curriculum
The curriculum at Little Lights Preschool utilizes a whole-literature approach including phonics. We offer children an integrated learning experience that incorporates language, reading, math, science, social studies, religion, physical education, and the arts. Readiness for reading is developed through rich language experiences and exposure to numerous literature-based activities. The lessons and themes vary from year to year and are designed to increase the children's language skills, socialization skills, imagination, and creativity.

8:40 • Circle Time (calendar, weather, letters, numbers, colors, theme of the week)
9:00 • Religion
9:20 • Bathroom Break and Snack
9:40 • Centers and Outdoor Play
10:00 • Math and Reading
10:20 • Art
10:50 • Prepare for Dismissal
11:00 • Dismissal
